Hot off of the success of TDC’s similarly named Native North American type conference — which you can relive via video here — the Ezhishin Scholarship is a brand new award exclusively for US and Canada-based Native/First Nation creatives. Generously funded by Google, this $5000 USD scholarship is to be awarded to an individual who best exemplifies a creative practice that explores typography, type design, or relevant linguistic work.  The Ezhishin Scholarship is open both to current students as well as creative professionals looking to supplement their education via post-grad programs, applicable workshops, or self-initiated projects.
